Their delicate blend of indie rock, synthesized pop and sensitive vocals has helped Sodagreen rise from and independent background to mainstream success in Taiwan and recently throughout Asia. First appearing on the 2001 Taiwan Colors Music Independent Compilation, they have since released several highly listened to EPs and albums. Over the past eight years, Sodagreen has played mostly upscale venues and big festivals around Taiwan. Their 2008 release Sing with Me has gained them enough attention for a pan Asia tour that took them to Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore and Tokyo. Sodagreen are a good borderline indie band often initiating mando-pop lovers into the Taiwan underground scene.
